Erica Oakes is one of the Co-Founders of Culture Aesthetics and Wellness and founder of our training center. She is a board certified Cosmetic Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, an expert injector who is highly sought after nationally for both injections and education, sits on the educational committee for the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses and is the Tennessee chapter Secretary for American Med Spa Association. Erica worked in the plastic surgery specialty for almost six years prior to founding Culture and is highly respected in the cosmetic and aesthetic field as a well versed educator specializing in multiple modality treatments in the aesthetic field. She has been recognized as Knoxville’s Best of the Best Cosmetic Injector for four consecutive years and awarded the title of The Most Distinguished Women in Medical Aesthetics for 2025. When she is not in the clinic she is frequently speaking at both national and international conferences and educates as an Allergan Medical Institute faculty member, teaching other injectors across the map the art of cosmetic injections. Erica is also only 1 of 30 MD Codes mentees in the US and a Key Opinion Leader in the medical aesthetic field. Her love for education and science behind cosmetic medicine is unmatched and she is  constantly evolving and improving her own aesthetic skills with her continued education. She is passionate about her work in this industry and takes pride in making her clients feel and look their best while treating them with compassion, inclusivity, and respect.
